New Year

Happy New Year!!

I greeted the New Year in my hometown.

My grandmother lives alone, so she comes to my home and spend New Year's Day with us every year.

When my family greet a New Year, we usually set off crackers and celebrate a New Year.

I made a cake and ate it together last year, but I couldn't do it this year because I went back to my hometown by a ferry, and I was very tired. It took about half a day from Kobe to Kitakyushu!

I was very happy to spend New Year's Day with all of my family.

This year, I will go abroad to study. I have never been to a foreign country and I'm worried about it, but I want to study English, experience a lot of things and make many friends there.

I hope 2011 will be a good year!
